I liked it. I am totally on board with MLP have more two-parters that don’t involve big monsters and epic quests, but I do hope that’ll return for the finale. Flurry Heart was adorable, and it was interesting to see Shining Armor with the new dad jitters. I would have liked to see more bonding between Cadence and the baby, but there’ll be time for that later.
I’m probably in the minority of people who have forgiven Starlight Glimmer. I’m curious to see where she goes from here and if she’ll get even more attention to her transition into a “good guy” than Discord.
